Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
1. Service provider
Private Journey Planner (PJP), an activity operated by Marc Herry through his existing French sole proprietorship (entreprise individuelle). SIRET: 882 504 673 00014. Reported address: 109 Impasse de la Rousselle, 12700 Naussac, France. Email: contact@privatejourneyplanner.com. Exact wording of the professional address to be confirmed before publication.
2. Services
PJP provides personalised travel advice and plans. Clients book directly with third-party suppliers. PJP does not sell package holidays or accompany clients during trips.
3. Orders and fees
Scope, deliverables and fees are confirmed before ordering under the approved PJP fee schedule. Third-party travel costs are separate. [To complete: acceptance of terms, VAT and invoices.]
Acceptance of terms — Before confirming an order, the client reviews these Terms and Conditions and expressly accepts them through a dedicated control. Acceptance is required to complete the order.
4. Payment
50% of the planning fee is due upon ordering and 50% before delivery of the travel book. PJP does not directly provide financing.
5. Deliverables
Depending on the agreed service: travel book, detailed itinerary (Road Book), practical guidance and useful links. Third-party prices and availability may change.
6. Revisions
Two revision requests are included. Further revisions are chargeable after acceptance of a quotation. Corrections of errors attributable to PJP are free, including on the third request.
7. Liability
PJP remains responsible for its legal and contractual obligations. Client bookings are subject to the relevant suppliers’ terms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8. Withdrawal
Statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts apply unless a lawful exception exists. Personalisation alone does not automatically remove them. Express request for early performance (separate, unticked checkbox): “I expressly request Private Journey Planner to begin providing the service before the end of the statutory fourteen-day withdrawal period. I acknowledge that, if the service is fully performed before that period ends, I will lose my right of withdrawal. If I withdraw before completion, I may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the work already performed, in accordance with the law.” [To complete: model withdrawal form and final legal review.] [Add a verified official French government legal reference as a hyperlink on “statutory fourteen-day withdrawal period”.]
Separate early-performance request — Independently of acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, the client may expressly request that the service begin before the end of the statutory fourteen-day withdrawal period using a separate, optional and unticked control. The client is informed of the legal consequences, including any proportionate payment due upon withdrawal after performance has begun and the conditions under which the right of withdrawal may be lost once the service is fully performed. Without such a request, PJP does not begin providing the service before the statutory withdrawal period expires. Acceptance and express requests are recorded as evidence.
9. Cancellation and refunds
[To define and approve: rules before work begins, during performance and after delivery, subject to withdrawal rights.]
10. Complaints and mediation
Complaints: contact@privatejourneyplanner.com. [To complete: details of the appointed consumer mediator.]
11. Governing law
French law applies without prejudice to mandatory protections for international consumers.
