website cookie policy

Draft V01 — 20 October 2026. Provisional notice not ready for publication: the actual tracker inventory, lifetimes and choice mechanism must be verified.

1. Purpose

Cookies and other trackers store or read information on your device. Depending on their use, they may operate a website, remember a choice, measure traffic or support advertising. This notice concerns the Private Journey Plan website, published by Marc Herry under the name Private Journey Planner. Contact: contact@privatejourneyplanner.com.

2. Observed configuration

The website and forms use Wix. In the settings inspected on 20 October 2026, the privacy area offers “Add a cookie consent banner” and “Add to site”. A complete acceptance, refusal and preference-change mechanism was not demonstrated during this check.

The Google Tag, Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Google Tag Manager, TikTok Pixel and Yandex.Metrica integration cards display “Connect”. This indicates that no connection is shown on those cards; it does not establish the absence of all Wix trackers, custom code or third-party services on the website.

No tracker, consent service or privacy setting was enabled or changed during this preparation.

This website cookie policy provides information about cookies and the consent settings reviewed for Private Journey Planner.

3. Necessary cookies: documentation and verification

Wix documents technical cookies for security, stability and core operation. Their actual presence on PJP must still be recorded in a visitor context separate from the editor.

As documentary examples, Wix describes XSRF-TOKEN for request protection, lasting for the session, and svSession for security and core operation, lasting twelve months. These examples are not an inventory of cookies observed on PJP, and their lifetimes are not presented as website measurements.

4. Analytics, marketing and third parties

The inventory must identify analytics trackers, any advertising trackers and trackers from embedded services, together with their providers, purposes and lifetimes. This notice does not claim that there are no non-essential cookies. Advertising displayed by Wix on the free website does not, on its own, establish which trackers are used.

Actual storage and behaviour before any choice, after refusal and after acceptance remain to be tested. Cookies associated with a signed-in editor must not be confused with those placed on a visitor’s device.

5. Website cookie policy: Consent and preferences

Trackers requiring consent need prior agreement. Refusing and withdrawing must be as easy as accepting. A readily accessible website control must allow choices to be changed. These are requirements to meet; this draft does not state that those functions already work.

Browser settings can also manage some cookies. They do not replace an appropriate website consent mechanism. No fictitious “Manage cookies” button is offered here.

6. Before publication

Complete the actual tracker table: name, provider, purpose, category, lifetime, time of placement and consent condition. Check embedded services and custom code, then test refusal and reopening preferences. Until those checks are complete, this notice remains provisional and its footer label remains inactive.
